The Great Barrier Reef region is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and revenue growth in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.
About the Role
This dynamic opportunity involves creating compelling sales proposals, negotiating group rates, and pitching unique food and beverage offerings alongside an array of activities on the Great Barrier Reef.
You will work closely with our proactive team based in Sydney to drive revenue and performance through strategic planning, negotiation, and market engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets
- Negotiating and managing client relationships to secure business and maximize revenue
- Staying up-to-date with the MICE market and industry trends
About You
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven individual with expertise in negotiating and managing rates, keen market awareness, and excellent communication skills.
A strong focus on customer engagement and meeting targets is essential in driving our continued growth.
