AOD Case Worker - Multicultural Outreach

We are seeking an experienced AOD Case Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of case work, a strong understanding of the health and social issues affecting people who use substances and sleep rough, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Clients from marginalised and culturally diverse communities will be supported with case work drawn from outreach services.
  • Key responsibilities include building relationships with clients and service partners within the community, assisting clients with support needs to set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound, and delivering case work consistent with the Model of Care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in a relevant discipline (e.g. Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Development, Social Care)
  • Lived experience will be highly regarded
