Parts Advisor Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate parts information, and supporting our sales and servicing teams.

About the Job

This is a full-time permanent position that offers career growth opportunities. You will work closely with our Parts Supervisor and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

  • Customer Service: Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their parts needs, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Parts Locating: Locate Cat parts for customers and technicians, utilizing various digital and print resources.
  • Job Follow-up: Follow up and action outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.
  • System Based Parts Interpretation: Use system-based tools to interpret parts requirements and provide solutions.
  • Warehouse Tasks: Assist with receiving, order picking, and dispatching parts.
  • Accounts Receivable: Ensure adherence to company accounts receivable processes in relation to parts sales transactions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical Knowledge: Background in earthmoving and/or automotive.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience working on different systems/databases.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
