
Parts and Equipment Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information about their parts needs. A typical day in this role may include handling front counter enquiries, locating Cat parts for customers and technicians, following up on outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns, interpreting parts data using digital and print resources, performing parts warehousing tasks, and ensuring company accounts receivable processes are followed for parts sales transactions.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering career growth and development opportunities. You will work directly under the Parts Supervisor and be part of a rotating roster, Monday to Friday, with some after-hours support shared among the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling front counter enquiries, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Locating Cat parts for customers and technicians
- Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
- Interpreting parts data using digital and print resources
- Performing parts warehousing tasks (receiving, order picking, and dispatch)
- Ensuring company accounts receivable processes are followed for parts sales transactions
To succeed in this role, you will require mechanical knowledge and experience in earthmoving and/or automotive, exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, proficiency in Microsoft applications, experience working on different systems/databases, excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, and knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential).
