Job Opportunity: Field Service Fitter

The role of a Field Service Fitter involves providing technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair and maintenance.

As a Field Service Fitter, you will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base, ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted, and conducting your work in compliance with quality and safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite technical support to customers, diagnosing and repairing issues with Hitachi equipment.
  • Build relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Conduct work in accordance with quality and safety standards, adhering to all relevant procedures.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • OEM or earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
