Centre Manager Opportunity

Our centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team of educators, and foster strong relationships with children, families, and the broader community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to motivate and mentor staff, and take on new initiatives to drive growth and excellence in our centre.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Effectiveness: Manage and coordinate daily administrative and operational functions, including staffing rosters, enrolment processes, marketing strategies, centre events, and internal communications to ensure seamless and efficient centre operations.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, respectful, and collaborative relationships with children, families, and the broader community to build trust, engagement, and a sense of belonging.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legislation, and regulatory frameworks, supporting the centre to meet or exceed National Quality Standards.
  • Child Safety Commitment: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Child Safe Standards and a proactive commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment where the wellbeing, safety, and voice of every child is respected and prioritised.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma of Children's Services
  • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
  • Sound knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and Children Service Regulations
  • Nominated/Certified Supervisor Certificate
  • Current Working with Children's Check or VIT Registered, First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis
  • A strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a demonstrated commitment to child safety are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within the centre
