About the Role

Our childcare centres provide a haven of discovery, where children can explore and learn through play. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting our team to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

">Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our team and promote a positive work environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance, direction, and supervision to staff, students, and volunteers working within the childcare service.
  • Promoting a positive work environment and relationships with parents and staff.
  • Developing and implementing the Children's Program, reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines.
  • Maintaining compliance with the OH&S Policy and ensuring a safe environment is maintained for children and staff.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualified degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Room Leader in a nursery setting.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
