About This Role
Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory and one of the most experienced Aboriginal primary health care services in the country.
We provide a comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including eight remote communities. Our goal is to close the gap on Aboriginal health disadvantage and improve health outcomes for all Aboriginal people.
Key Objectives
The ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse will support us to increase our workforce capacity to implement ARF and RHD strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based and sustainable. This position will embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care and care coordination of people living with RhD.
- This role will have a significant impact on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people.
