About the Role:- Leading contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and subcontractor agreements.
- Identifying and driving business development and strategic growth opportunities in the market.
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting across the project portfolio.
- Overseeing variation management, claims resolution, and contract risk mitigation.
- Providing commercial insight and strategic advice to project and executive teams.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant quality, safety, and financial standards.
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentoring, developing, and supporting commercial staff to achieve their full potential.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial leadership experience within the commercial construction sector.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, negotiate contracts, assess risk, and implement commercial strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence project and client outcomes.
- Highly organised, commercially astute, and focused on margin protection and delivery excellence.
