Product Development Lead

Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Development Lead, your key area of responsibility will be directing product development from conception to launch, and discovering, developing and carefully cultivating new products and product enhancements that support business growth.

  • You will need to work closely with senior members of the team and product leadership to provide input on the long-term vision of the product.
  • You will be a self-starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills, reliable problem-solving skills, creativity, communication and acute perception.
  • You will understand customer needs and perform customer discovery interviews with prospective and existing customers to identify product gaps and generate new ideas for continuous value add.
  • You will develop a product roadmap and align internal stakeholders to the developed roadmap strategy.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Marketing, Support and others) to build and execute the product development and go-to-market strategy for key deliverables.
  • You will prioritize building what matters most by balancing short-term sales targets with long-term strategic investments.

This role requires 3-5 years of experience in product management and/or customer discovery or related field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization, well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

A successful Product Development Lead will have demonstrated experience and strong understanding of user engagement metrics and product KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making and enhance product performance.
