Educational Media Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Educational Media Producer to join our team at The University of Queensland. As an Educational Media Producer, you will play a key role in creating engaging educational media assets, including videos, scripts, and presentations, to support our career development and employability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our Career Development and SEED teams to develop and implement a comprehensive media production strategy.
- Manage all aspects of media production, including planning, direction, and post-production processes.
- Coach and develop talent, ensuring high-quality media assets are produced.
- Develop and source media content for our social media platforms and contribute to our social media and promotional strategy.
- Support students with advice at employability engagement events.
- Perform other related duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.
- Hold a relevant degree or diploma, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Possess strong technical skills in digital media capture, editing, and video post-production, particularly in a documentary, higher education, or training environment.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Familiar with educational software and social media tools.
