Business Operations Coordinator

The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual with experience in office management or a related role, preferably within the construction industry.

The Business Operations Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of our office, managing various aspects including procurement, office organisation, IT support, fleet management, employee onboarding, accommodation and travel bookings, security, and building maintenance.

  • Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, furniture, and maintain cost-effective supplier relationships.
  • Oversee company fleet, including maintenance, repairs, scheduling, and compliance with safety/registration requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures; provide administrative support to Executive Leaders and Directors.
  • Provide IT support, including troubleshooting, procurement, upgrades, licensing, and hardware/software maintenance.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, including account setup, access permissions, equipment, and training.
  • Arrange and manage staff travel and accommodation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policy.
  • Implement security protocols; oversee building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and coordination with external providers.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications, knowledge of IT hardware and software support, familiarity with procurement and supplier management, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a well-organised office environment.
