The role of Business Operations Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Critical Support Functions: Provide expert advice on business support functions to enable effective functioning of the Board, sub-committees, and staff.
- Paper Preparation and Meeting Coordination: Oversee preparation of papers and minutes for Board and sub-committee meetings, including the Audit & Risk Committee, Nominations Committee, AGM, and special general meetings.
- Risk Management and Governance: Review and maintain the Risk Register and risk framework, as well as review By Laws and constitutional changes.
- Finance and Integrity: Oversee finance and integrity functions, ensuring sound financial management and embedding a culture of child safeguarding.
- Culture Influence: Influence and contribute directly to the organisation's culture, bringing values to life and striving to positively demonstrate them daily and associated behaviours.
- A qualification in Law/Governance, Business Management, Human Resources, or other relevant field.
- Previous experience in a role with strong focus on policy, governance, integrity, finance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets.
- Effective stakeholder management and communications skills.
- A passion for sport and desire to contribute significantly to its growth.
