The Organisation
Our client is a values-driven national organisation with a rich tradition and history dedicated to serving the community through various health services including acute and subacute hospital care, aged care, mental health programs, maternity and specialist women's health services, early parenting services, and home care services.
A strategic and operational leader is sought to join this award-winning organisation as a General Manager, People and Culture, responsible for overseeing their hospital services division.
The Opportunity
This role collaborates closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) and the hospital services leadership team to oversee comprehensive operational directives and strategic human resources initiatives across a large and diverse cohort.
- Collaborating with the CPO to ensure high-quality mission-centric outcomes addressing internal and external stakeholders' needs.
- Executing the People Strategy to achieve Strategic Plan goals.
- Working with the Head of Talent to execute workforce strategies for attracting, recruiting, selecting, developing, and retaining high-quality professionals.
- Delivering human resource services and practices supporting management effectively.
- Offering guidance and advice on employee relations matters and case management.
- Participating in agreement negotiations as needed.
- Driving and overseeing human resource-designated projects.
- Coaching managers in current human resource management practices.
- Leading and facilitating human resource services aligning with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Contributing to collective change management and implementation.
- Reviewing and developing policies and procedures.
- Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders by upholding communication lines.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations through risk assessments and frameworks.
