Do you thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where no two days are the same? We're looking for enthusiastic, professional and flexible individuals to be part of the team delivering the iconic Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Place.
This is a unique role that will have a deep impact across the business.
The people strategy is a key enabler in achieving the VRC's long term strategic plan, and this role is pivotal in reshaping the way we work to deliver on this.
The Details Lead the design of cultural mechanics - translating the cultural ambition and embedding it in the business through systems, symbols and behaviours.
Uplift leadership capability, defining the unique contribution of leaders at the VRC to support the desired culture, and develop the skills and behaviours that allow it to thrive.
Create alignment across the business through the development and execution of an internal communications strategy.
Drive VRC team engagement through targeted and customised people initiatives.
A strategic partner to business functions that will drive performance, lead through change and build inspired and engaged teams.
What We're Looking For This role will be part of a small team that has the opportunity to make a big difference.
It will require someone who has broad experience across OD specialisations with a bent to culture, leadership and communications.
We're looking for someone who: Has a passion for creating organisational change through the development and delivery of high impact organisational people programs.
Demonstrated experience in leading a business through a culture change.
Can be creative in their thinking and practical and precise in their execution.
Cares more about getting to the right outcome, and less about what's in the job description.
Demonstrated ability to, and enjoys managing, multiple 'spinning plates' at any one time.
Has strong stakeholder engagement and well-established communication skills.
Ability to influence at all levels lead through others to get outcomes.
