About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with existing customers while consistently identifying and converting new on- and off-premise accounts to drive brand visibility. Key responsibilities include:

  • BUILD STRONG, LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS.
  • IDENTIFY AND CONVERT NEW ON- AND OFF-PREMISE ACCOUNTS TO GROW BRAND VISIBILITY.
  • DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A STRUCTURED MONTHLY CALL CYCLE, SUPPORTED BY CRM USAGE.
  • EXECUTE MARKETING INITIATIVES AND TAILORED ACTIVATIONS IN LINE WITH BRAND GUIDELINES.
  • DRIVE PREMIUM WINE PLACEMENT IN KEY VENUES THAT CAN CHAMPION THE BRAND.
  • MEET COMMERCIAL KPIs ACROSS VOLUME, MARGIN, AND PREMIUM MIX.

The role emphasizes delivering consistent and profitable sales growth through new business development, premium product mix management, and exceptional customer service. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with Trade Marketing and Key Account teams to activate promotional campaigns and boost brand awareness in the Newcastle region.
