About the Role

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Windows 11 endpoint environments.

  • Design and deploy System Operation Environment (SOE) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with resolver teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
  • Provide Business-as-Usual (BAU) support for services including incident, change, and problem management, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Contribute to project work on service enhancements and system migrations, driving process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise environments with MECM/SCCM infrastructure, patching, and management.
  • Familiarity with Intune and migrating tasks and policies from MECM, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing SOE/MOEs, including:
    • Windows and security updates, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
    • Advanced Group Policy Management, streamlining user access and permissions.
    • Task Sequence creation and management, automating deployment processes.
    • Deployment to an enterprise environment, guaranteeing scalability and reliability.

Success Factors

  • A strong understanding of ITIL principles, guiding decision-making and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • The ability to teach and grow junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Australian citizenship and the ability to hold an AGSVA clearance (NV1 preferred), ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation (optional).
  • Microsoft Certifications on M365, MECM/SCCM, Windows.
  • Other IT certifications beneficial, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and development.
