
Enterprise WHS Specialist

The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise WHS Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Defence WHS Branch, you will play a critical role in enabling Defence capability and keeping our people safe.
About the Role:
- Support the management of enterprise WHS boards and committees, ensuring effective governance and decision-making.
- Review and develop enterprise WHS policies, aligning with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop briefing material for senior leaders and Ministers on sensitive WHS matters, providing accurate and timely advice.
- Support the management of the Defence Hazardous Chemicals Management Program, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Defence WHS Assurance Program, driving continuous improvement.
- Analyse and report on WHS data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide governance and user support for WHS ICT systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Procure and manage contracts for WHS-related services, meeting business needs.
- Perform various data analytics activities, including data modelling and dashboard creation.
