About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team in providing expert Counselling services.

  • You will provide generalist counselling services to clients in a residential program, including psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and other relevant modalities.
  • Deliver interventions to motivate clients toward positive change, incorporating harm minimisation and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Identify and respond to significant risk factors or deterioration in clients' conditions, developing and implementing an appropriate management plan.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Counselling) and registration with a recognised professional body.
  • Highly developed knowledge and application of alcohol and other drugs theoretical frameworks, national guidelines, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • A sound understanding of professional, ethical, and legal requirements underpinning treatment and clinical management of mental health issues.
