Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Perinatal Infant Mental Health Specialist to join our professional team.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of pregnant women and new parents who care for infants up to 6 months of age with severe or complex mental health problems.

You will collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions to support individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a holistic approach to care incorporating comprehensive care planning to address diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person's journey.
  • Take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions.
Requirements
  • Current tertiary qualifications in nursing, psychology or other recognised qualification with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for membership of the relevant peak body professional association.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability within a clinical setting.
