We invite you to join our team as a compassionate mental health specialist, providing evidence-based services to young clients and their families.
As a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to help children and adolescents navigate emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.
The role involves working with a range of clients, including those with complex needs, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and play therapy
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers
- Providing support and guidance to clients and their families
Requirements include eligibility to deliver services under Mental Health Care Plans, including Psychologist, Occupational Therapist with mental health accreditation, Social Worker with mental health accreditation.
We welcome applicants with formal counselling qualifications and current registration with either ACA or PACFA.
