Job Title: Townsville City Council Councillor Liaison Officer

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate IV in Business and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related or similar role, preferably in customer services/community engagement. You will have qualifications (membership and/or certificate) or experience in public consultation (e.g., IAP2) and experience in social media activity. You will need experience in conducting or assisting in stakeholder consultation, including group facilitation. Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building and negotiation, are essential as well as the ability to plan and organise yourself and others to ensure timely completion of tasks as part of a team, interacting with team members to deliver a high level of service.
