At AUS Medtronic Australia, we're committed to innovation and excellence in healthcare. As a Senior Manager, Pricing and Contracting, you'll play a key role in leading our Strategic Pricing and Tenders teams for Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

This is a highly visible position that requires strong leadership and collaboration skills. You'll work closely with our Operating Units and Enterprise Accounts team to develop and implement pricing strategies, manage tenders and contract lifecycles, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 11 employees
  • Manage 4 direct reports, including a Manager of Tenders and Contracts and 3 Strategic Pricing Analysts
  • Plan and prioritize work for team members
  • Represent Global Pricing and Contracting function with local business leaders in ANZ
  • Translate global goals and objectives into local implementation plans
  • Identify price uplift opportunities and partner with business stakeholders on execution
  • Provide input to price decisions for key tenders and contracts
  • Implement and monitor local pricing, contracting, and tender governance and policies
  • Partner with broader Pricing and Contracting organization on process improvements and system upgrades
  • Lead local periodic business reviews and manage escalations from local stakeholders
  • Learn and share best practices with other regional teams

Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complexity. You'll need:

Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 3+ years of managerial experienceStrong analytical skills and experience with pricing software, preferably Vendavo or SAPExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
