Job Opportunity

Are you looking to develop your skills in asset management and coordination? This role offers the opportunity to join a growing organization within its Group Asset division.

The role is an 8-month fixed-term position with a possibility of extension. You will be based at a modern office, opposite a major transport hub, offering a vibrant environment with a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that asset specifications are configured correctly to meet fit-for-purpose requirements.
  • Manage asset utilization and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
  • Support the provision of repairs and maintenance requests, fuel cards, tolls, telematics, infringements, breakdowns, and accident management services.
  • Maintain the asset database and other applicable databases.
  • Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturer's/regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines.
  • Coordinate the disposal of surplus with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return.
  • Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
  • Ensure the physical protection, security, and control of all assets.
About the Role

This position would suit someone more junior in their career with some exposure to asset management or someone more experienced seeking a shorter-term role in a great company.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in asset management and/or contract management (desirable)
  • Knowledge of leasing and asset ownership management (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with commercial, plant, and equipment assets (desirable)
