Exciting new opportunity for an Asset Coordinator to join our Business Services division
About the Role

Service Stream's Corporate division are currently seeking an Asset Coordinator to join our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day administration and management of all passenger, light & heavy commercial vehicles, trailers, yellow goods, and other miscellaneous mobile plant and equipment, owned, leased or hired by Service Stream Limited and it's subsidiaries.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Collins Street, Melbourne

Reporting Line: Asset Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Business in the selection of assets, facilitate lease / purchase quotes and approvals in accordance with Delegations of Authority
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specification are configured correctly meeting fit for purpose requirements of the business, governance and compliance requirements
- Management of asset insurance claims process with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing asset utilisation, and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
- The provision of repairs and maintenance, fuel card, toll, telematics, infringements, breakdown and accident management services
- Undertake asset hire with external stakeholders as required to meet business requirements
- Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturer's / regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines
- Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets in accordance with Delegations of Authority with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the Company
- Maintain positive internal relationships with business units and other corporate services functions

About You

To be successful for this role, you have:

- Demonstrated Asset management experience
- Knowledge and experience in supplier / contract management
- Experience in leasing and asset ownership management
- Experience in financial transactions and controls
- Excellent stakeholder engagement & management skills at all levels, both internally and external
- Knowledge of Asset related compliance and governance requirements /guidelines
