About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement and supply chain department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. Your primary goal will be to improve the relationship between supply and demand with key vendors, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of our business requirements and expectations.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience working with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, and offshore vendors. CIPSA certification is an added advantage. You will also need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

  • You will work closely with our vendor's onsite leaders, account managers, and service delivery managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • You will oversee new initiative requests from within the company to ensure they follow the appropriate engagement process and that work can only commence once authorized.
  • You will make decisions and provide arbitration for ETS and the vendor's management team.
  • You will validate and accept monthly/quarterly vendor reporting.
  • You will own the governance framework and quarterly governance executive meetings to ensure we get the best value from our vendors with innovation, continuous service improvement, and minimized risk.
  • You will establish and communicate clear and concise vendor performance metrics by creating effective vendor management scorecards and dashboards.
  • You will hold the vendor accountable for service delivery in accordance with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • You will manage financial commitments made with the supplier, ensuring invoices are consistent with executed statements of work/work orders.
  • You will create/suspend supplier team members as required.
  • You will periodically modify SLAs/KPIs and other aspects of the service, as agreed mutually, to improve the vendor's service delivery.
  • You will engage with the business as necessary to support product requirements and influence prioritization within or across IT categories.
  • You will escalate issues/risks that require intervention.
