About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Vendor Liaison Expert to join our team at Flight Centre Travel Group. In this role, you will have responsibility for working with key vendors to improve the relationship between supply and demand. You will ensure that vendors have a clear understanding of business requirements and expectations.

A Day in the Life:

  • You will interact daily with onsite leaders, Account Managers, and Service Delivery Managers from major technology vendors like Microsoft and ServiceNow.
  • Oversight and awareness of new initiative requests from FCTG/Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) to ensure they follow the appropriate engagement process.
  • Decision-making/arbitration and point of escalation for ETS and the Vendor's Management Team.
  • Validation and acceptance of Monthly/Quarterly vendor reporting.
  • Ownership of the Governance Framework and Quarterly Governance Executive meetings to ensure best value from vendors through innovation, continuous service improvement, and risk minimization.
  • Establish and communicate clear vendor performance management metrics using effective scorecards and dashboards.
  • Holding vendors accountable for Service Delivery in accordance with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Management of financial commitments made with suppliers, ensuring invoices align with executed Statements of Work/Work Orders.
  • Creation/Suspension of supplier team members as required.
  • Periodic modification of SLAs/KPIs and other aspects of the service to improve Vendor Service Delivery.
  • Business Engagement as necessary to support Product requirements, influencing business prioritization within or across IT categories.
  • Escalating issues/risks requiring intervention.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
