About the Opportunity

Australia Post is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our Case Management team. As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance, support, and representation on complex and medium/high risk cases, queries, and investigations.

This is a rewarding opportunity to have a positive influence on our culture by using your specialist knowledge to partner with our people leaders on disciplinary matters, investigations, and advising on risk. Your understanding of employment legislation is crucial when weighing up business risk and making decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct case management and coordination of all activities associated with employee-based investigations, including Harassment, Discrimination, Bullying, Whistleblower, Managing Director Complaints, Alcohol and Drug escalations, and standard ER case investigations.
  • Provide expert advice, case coordination, and review of recommendations for all ER activities, including providing feedback to improve knowledge and resolving any issues identified through the process.
  • Align to the investigations framework and toolkit that ensures investigations in relation to alleged misconduct are trauma-informed, human-centric, and conducted to the highest standards of procedural fairness.
  • Provide targeted interventions and support offerings to identified areas of the business requiring further support and advice on matters.
About You

You will be someone with a high level of influencing skills to ensure resolution is reached when managing cases. You will also be able to demonstrate how attention to detail is a key trait of yours when managing cases and ensuring accuracy of information and data within formal reports.

You'll also need experience in end-to-end case management, providing advice and guidance on workplace investigations, including Harassment, Discrimination, and Bullying. Ideally, experience running an investigation process yourself would be favorable. Experience with key external bodies, including the Fair Work Commission, is also essential.

What We Offer
  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day.
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Safety every day. They're the TIES that bind our team together.
  • Flexible working, across head office and facilities across the network.
