As a Clearance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless and compliant international shipments through customs processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments, adhering to local and international regulations.
- Examine customs documentation, classify goods according to customs rules, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.
- Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues.
- Collaborate closely with government agencies and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance.
- Secondary education or equivalent.
- At least three years of work experience in Customs.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance.
- Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portals.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proven expertise in planning & organizing, with a strong accuracy & attention to detail.
