As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, guaranteeing compliance with local and international regulations
  • Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities
  • Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues

Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance
  • Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portal
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs
  • For Associate level, no prior experience is required
  • For Lead level, at least five (5) years of work experience in Customs, of which at least two (2) years at FedEx/TNT is required
