Job Overview:

As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes.

  • Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.
  • Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance, as well as proficiency in customs clearance software and online customs portal. Additionally, they should possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to plan and organize effectively.

Requirements:
  • Secondary education or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs.
  • For Associate level, no prior experience is required.
  • For Lead level, at least five (5) years of work experience in Customs, of which at least two (2) years is preferred.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
