Gallagher Bassett is seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Consultant to join our Specialty Claims team.
This role requires a deep understanding of complex claims management and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply technical knowledge to manage complex claims
- Provide instructions to legal panel firms within required timeframes
- Conduct case conferences and attend claims review meetings when necessary
- Build and develop business relationships with external networks
- Manage high quantum sensitive claims from start to finish
- Attend settlement conferences and mediations
- Counsel and mentor junior consultants
- Liaise with third-party providers including solicitors, barristers and agencies
- Settle claims within client service instructions and company guidelines
We're interested in candidates with at least 5 years of experience in claims management, preferably in public liability, health liability, professional indemnity, CTP claims or workers compensation.
Industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications are desirable, as are strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities.
