Job Description:

As a Claims Adviser, you will provide expert claims management services to clients and brokers through consulting, advisory, advocacy, and negotiation.

The role involves meeting service levels set out in Client Service Agreement or Claims Unit standards. You will respond to queries from clients and brokers, prepare routine and ad hoc reports, including claims trends analysis, conduct training for clients as required, manage basic to moderately complex claims according to Company processes and client agreements, liaise with the Major Claims Unit as needed, interpret policy wordings, analyse claims history data, arrange/conduct investigations, and determine claim settlements for under-deductible claims. Additionally, you will perform data entry of incident reports and process other claims-related information in Clearsight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet service levels set out in Client Service Agreement or Claims Unit standards

  • Manage basic to moderately complex claims according to Company processes and client agreements, liaising with the Major Claims Unit as needed

Requirements:
  • Tier 1 professional accreditation/membership (Senior Associate member of ANZIIF)
  • Undertake Company-directed compliance training
