Reservations Agent Role

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is seeking a dedicated Reservations Sales Agent to join our in-house team.

About the Job

We are looking for someone with proven experience in customer service or reservations within the hospitality and tourism industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing reservations to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest inquiries and requests. Proficient in using reservation systems and technology, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where adaptability and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to all guest inquiries and reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels
  • Efficiently process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a consistent and positive guest experience
  • Provide recommendations on room types, resort amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
  • Contribute to the achievement of revenue and occupancy targets
