About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Coordinator to join our team at Service Stream. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for timely receipt of payment for VRMC Services and compliance with Contract and Service Stream financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit payment claims to TfV for completed works and invoicing when claim is approved
  • Monitor outstanding invoices, liaising with TfV representatives to ensure payment is received in line with Contract terms
  • Review payment claims submitted by delivery partners (subcontractors) and process for payment in line with agreed payment terms
  • Raise purchase orders for goods and services
  • Liaise with TfV and delivery partner representatives to resolve AP / AR issues
  • Maintain finance systems, procedures and processes and support the Business & Performance Manager with financial analysis and reporting
About You

We are looking for a candidate with at least three years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as civil engineering, road construction / maintenance, resources or heavy manufacturing. You will have advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise-grade financial management systems, as well as sound knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.

You will be a committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement, with well-developed interpersonal skills and a track record of working collaboratively with customers and delivery partners to resolve issues.
