About the Role:

The Senior Client Onboarding Manager is a critical position within Citi's Institutional Client Onboarding team, responsible for overseeing the onboarding process for high-profile clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the financial industry and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of onboarding specialists in managing the onboarding process for institutional clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the onboarding experience, reducing defects and increasing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and risk, to ensure seamless onboarding and minimize risks.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, identifying and developing high performers for future leadership roles.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and service level, driving process changes to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve onboarding processes and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in onboarding, account maintenance, and related cash products.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management, regulators, and clients.
  • Proven project management skills, including financial cost management and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken).
