Client Implementations Manager

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Onboarding Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Institutional Client Onboarding department, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and contributing to the development of standards and processes within the sub-function.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer interactions, documentation issuance, review, and system setups to ensure timely and accurate delivery of account opening functions.
- Develop and implement high-level project plans, including cost management, to drive business objectives and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new work procedures, analyze complex issues, and implement process improvements.
- Lead the planning and hiring of team members, provide coaching, development, and performance evaluations, and ensure a culture of risk and controls within the team.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, service levels, and process changes to drive business growth and ensure a robust processing environment with effective controls.
- Develop and maintain performance matrices to track defects, productivity, and audit results, and ensure clean audit results.
- Engage in project planning, including cost management, and develop training content, materials, and trackers for the migration.
- Support training for new staff, develop job descriptions for hiring, and manage subordinate supervisors and project staff.
- Evaluate subordinates' performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
- 6-10 years of experience in documentation review, account maintenance, and related cash products.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or economy.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external business partners.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including financial cost management skills.
- Advanced execution skills in a multi-tasking mode, with exposure to customer service and handling of system, testing, and rollouts.
- Ability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters established.
- Ability to interact confidently with senior management and/or regulators.
- Ability to coach and develop people, identifying and retaining talent.
- Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.
