About the Role

SA Water is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reconciliation Coordinator to play a key role in delivering the company's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of First Nations engagement and reconciliation practices, as well as excellent organisational and administrative skills.

The Reconciliation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of the RAP, including managing logistics and facilitating meetings. They will also build and maintain effective relationships with reconciliation networks and internal stakeholders, lead and implement reconciliation initiatives, and monitor budgets and prepare progress reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects from start to finish, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop productive relationships across the business and community. They will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related technology platforms, and a tertiary qualification in Sustainability, First Nations Engagement, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with reconciliation networks and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and implement reconciliation initiatives, monitor budgets, and prepare progress reports
  • Support the development and execution of sustainability projects, working collaboratively across the organisation
  • Develop and promote communications related to our reconciliation and sustainability activities

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in First Nations engagement and reconciliation practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop productive relationships across the business and community
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Proven experience in delivering projects from start to finish
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR-related technology platforms
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, First Nations Engagement, or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Experience coordinating community events (desirable)
