We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our organisation on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality human resources advice and solutions to leaders and employees.

About the Role

This role will be based at our Brisbane headquarters and will report into the Lead HR Business Partner. The primary purpose of the role is to deliver and support processes and programs, providing best practice human resources advice and solutions to leaders and employees.

In partnership with the leadership team, you will work collaboratively with the organisation to identify HR issues, implement effective solutions, and develop the People strategy.

  • You will influence and provide generalist advice and support on operational HR matters across the full employee lifecycle, including:
    • Current employment legislation and awards
    • Employee relations
    • Workforce planning
    • Recruitment & talent management
    • Engagement & retention
    • Personnel performance management
    • Change management
  • You will plan, develop and deliver key processes and programs, and provide fit for purpose people initiatives across the organisation in service to the strategic business plan;
  • You will participate in HR projects and broader organisation projects as required;
  • You will be an HR champion for change, identifying fit for purpose improvement opportunities; and
  • You will provide guidance as needed to employee committees.
About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Cultural alignment with our values;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or a related discipline;
  • Five plus years of HR generalist experience with strong exposure to:
    • Attraction and retention programs
    • Compensation and benefits
    • Employee engagement surveys and strategies
    • Performance management and disciplinary processes
    • Learning and development principles
  • Demonstrated ability in building positive relationships with leaders, confidently coaching and influencing stakeholders with a strong customer focus.
  • You are an enthusiastic doer and communicator in a team-based environment. You recognise the value a strong HR team plays in the success of an organisation and are committed to championing HR best practice methodologies and solutions.
