Support Professional for Individuals with Disabilities

This role involves working in diverse settings, including clients' homes or places of residence, other services, community groups, and community settings.
You'll provide daily living assistance, support individualized care plans, perform domestic duties, and accompany clients to community activities and appointments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning a fully insured, reliable vehicle
- Completing the NDIS Check
- Holding a Cert III in Disability or above, or equivalent experience (minimum 1 year)
- Possessing a current Working with Children check
- Holding First aid/CPR certificates (current)
- Holding a Full and clean Australian driver's license
Required attributes include being punctual, reliable, and flexible with good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating empathy and proactivity in the field, self-supervising, remaining calm in crisis situations and confidently satisfying relevant probity checks.
To be employed by Mypal Home Care, you'll need to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
