Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities? We're a not-for-profit disability support provider that specialises in working with individuals with frequent and complex support needs.
We build relationships around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences. We partner with individuals with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community.
Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on us for their essential support needs.
To do a great job, you'll need:
- Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.
- Experience in personal care (showering and dressing) assistance with domestic duties
- Will to put in time and energy to build rapport with your client
- Openness to activities supporting clients with their hobbies like bike riding, playing musical instruments, exercise, arts and crafts, DIY projects and sightseeing
- Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives
