Business Valuation Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Business Valuation Expert. In this role, you'll work with clients to preserve, optimise, raise or invest capital. Your expertise will be crucial in advising clients on strategic options for transformation initiatives and providing detailed financial modelling and analysis.
- You'll lead small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets, working towards various purposes including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting and disputes.
- As the key person responsible for managing and preparation of valuation reports, you'll maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and EY project teams and colleagues.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis, preferably in finance, economics, accounting or business.
- Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes.
- Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills are essential.
