Job Title: Real Estate Valuation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Real Estate Valuation Specialist. As a key member of our Alternatives – Valuations & Advisory business, you will play a crucial role in providing property valuation services and expert advice to commercial property owners, investors, and developers.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Source and collate comprehensive data about properties, including characteristics, title, sales, leasing info, costs, applications, plans, and recent transactions.
  2. Attend inspections with senior team members to assess property condition.
  3. Assist in analyzing property data, including financial modeling and market risks, aligned with local and economic conditions.
  4. Support in producing valuation reports detailing property information, methodology, capitalisation rate, and potential risks.
  5. Ensure reports meet compliance and quality standards.
  6. Write location-specific market commentaries on market conditions.
  7. Participate in client meetings with senior team members.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements
  1. A tertiary degree in Property or related field.
  2. Desirable financial acumen and understanding of valuation components.
  3. Strong analytical skills to identify data patterns and insights.
  4. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  5. Good communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
