About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Valuation Specialist to support fair and accurate property valuation, helping us deliver essential services to our community.

You will make a significant impact by ensuring accurate property records and valuations, processing rate notices and waste management charges, supporting internal teams and stakeholders with expert advice and data, contributing to business improvement and customer service initiatives, and assisting in the recovery of outstanding rates and managing concessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and understanding of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions
  • Experience using property systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with TechOne, CRM, SharePoint, and Open Office systems (desired)
  • Knowledge about relevant legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Privacy Data Protection Act
