Disability Support Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Wallsend, NSW. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized support in a group home setting, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
- Support clients to make informed choices and develop skills for independence, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
- Encourage clients to engage in their community, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
- Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Transport clients, using our minivan, as required.
- Live locally to the Wallsend area.
- Prior experience in disability support or a related field is highly regarded.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) is required.
- An attractive hourly rate, plus superannuation and penalty rates.
