Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to increase a person's quality of life, skills, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Conduct observations and assessments to identify challenging behaviours and develop strategies to reduce restrictive practices.
- Develop and implement training programs to support clients and staff in achieving PBS goals.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of PBS plans.
- Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Allied Health.
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or the ability to become registered.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses.
- A car and valid driver's license.
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
