We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team at The Benevolent Society. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes for clients
- Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals to create personalised support plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions to empower individuals and drive progress
- Uphold NDIS standards and foster trust and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Current registration as a Core or Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework
- Minimum 1 year's experience in behaviour support intervention and development of behaviour support plans
- Experience working within and adhering to NDIS behaviour support frameworks, practice standards, and quality indicators
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to provide a service based on a client's NDIS goals and funding allocation
- Current NSW drivers' license and willingness to travel to clients and work flexibly
- A dynamic and supportive team environment
- Regular check-ins with Senior Practitioners and ongoing guidance and mentorship
- Opportunities for professional development and growth
- A commitment to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
