Key Account Manager

Opal is a leading packaging and paper company in Australasia, serving some of the biggest names in FMCG, Retail, and Fresh Produce. Our customer base is diverse, and we're looking for a skilled professional to manage a portfolio of major national accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with customers to drive long-term revenue and profitability growth.
- Establish unmatched insights into the customer's business and build strong relationships across multiple levels and functions.
- Initiate value-added initiatives to systematically grow both revenue and profitability.
- Proactively secure contracted business ahead of competitive tenders and manage the process of securing ongoing tenure at acceptable business terms.
- Contract management to ensure best value for Opal.
- Sales and/or marketing and supply chain experience.
- Experience in managing customer relationships.
- Previous experience in the Australian and/or Global packaging or distribution industries is desirable.
- Experience in negotiating contracts.
- Executive-level credibility.
- Commercial acumen.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
