Job Title: Key Account Manager

Are you a driven sales professional looking to build strong relationships with customers and drive business growth? We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team at Kerry, a leading food ingredients and flavor company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Secure new sales opportunities by demonstrating health and taste trends to existing and potential customers.
  • Manage sales coverage and pipeline growth by being a product expert on Kerry's ingredient collections portfolio.
  • Build effective customer visit plans and strategies to proactively target new customers.
  • Deliver positive results on organic revenue growth, new business growth, and margin targets.
  • Negotiate, promote, and demonstrate product offerings to build and deliver a strong consistent pipeline.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience.
  • Analyze opportunities and construct a customer engagement strategy.
  • Collaborate with peers and mentors to benefit from continuous development and sharing of best practices.
  • Work with internal pricing and finance teams to build quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Maintain SFDC with records of key sales opportunities and call reports.
  • Collaborate effectively cross-functionally with the broader Kerry Sales & Supply team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years previous relevant experience in food ingredients/flavor industry.
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging presentations utilizing technical terminology.
  • Proven expertise in commercial strategies, account management, and familiarity with digital tools for account management.
  • Demonstrated strength in relationship building and negotiation skills, with high degree of self-awareness.
  • Capability to collaborate across functions to spearhead customer briefs while overseeing various stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the food and beverage industry within Australia.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or similar background is preferred.
