Role Overview

As a Tendering Engineer at Technip Energies, your role will be pivotal in maintaining a robust pipeline of engaging and significant projects in Australia, contributing to the energy transition landscape.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Commercial, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Estimating, Planning & Risk Management, and Legal divisions, providing an excellent platform for long-term career development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Taking charge of the preparation, submission, and clarification of all commercial and contractual aspects of tender proposals. Acting as Proposal Engineer for smaller proposals, ensuring comprehensive proposal preparation for clients in line with established procedures. Fostering a high level of collaboration and teamwork among all relevant Business Units and Stakeholders. Striving for excellence in our tender preparation and submission processes. Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating the commercial risks faced by the Business Unit. Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and documentation while validating our technical solutions and value engineering. Supporting Business Development in strategizing at the invitation stage, preparing pre-qualifications, expressions of interest, proposals, and presentations. Conducting Risk Assessments on all applicable tenders in accordance with organizational standards. Providing management with status updates on tenders and the tendering budget. Candidate Profile

A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A technical or commercial background with a keen interest in the tendering process. 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector or construction industry.
